Good afternoon fellow Rotarians! It's hard to believe for the first time in many weekends, we haven't had any rain. Although many of us will be inspired by water later on this week, when we gather at the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority offices on Tuesday night for Greening Your Grounds. 

 

Kudos to fellow Rotarian Ken Bechard for all his hardwork on the last official District 6380 Youth Exchange training session for our outbound students. Thank you to all the Rotarians (Ron Coristine, Sheila Bateman, Betty Manso, & Linda Goldsmith) who brought food by the Sun Life Financial office on Friday to feed the exchange students on Saturday (and made me hungry, especially Linda's Maple City Bakery squares!).

 

This week, we will be hosting Chatham-Kent Prosperity Roundtable representative, Philip Mock. Due to a combination of things, I was unable to interview Phillip this week. I was able to find a great article highlighting Living Wage Week last fall, which is one of the initiatives the Roundtable supports. Click here to read the article.
