Club members Roger McRae and Paul Roy affixed indigenous trees with tags this past week at Howell Park.

Howell Park - located across from St. Clair College, was created in dedication to Max and Ruth Howell. Max has since passed on but his memory remains strong among the community, and especially among Rotarians.

Thanks to Paul Roy and Roger McRae for arranging to have the tree tags made, and ultimately for affixing them to the special, indigenous trees in the park. Most of the trees were planted 18 years ago when Howell Park was created as a Carolinian forest, comprised of local deciduous trees.
