Our photographer roamed & our note- taker took the night off!
Please enjoy our brief notes & the photo collage.

The event opened with a social hour, greeting many of our guests sharing the evening with us: Lee-Ann MacNeil, Gloria MacRae, Lorna Lawrence, Jane Katzman, Bill Dodman, Barbara Gardiner, Gerard Pigeon, Carol Ann Babcock, Karen Vince, Wendy Edwards & Myrka!, Lillian Steele, Rose Marie Roy, Willie & Bob Vellinga, Dennis & Beth Walters. Visiting Rotarians were Barry Fraser & Maureen Geddes.

Several presentations were made throughout the evening.
Audrey Chevalier is now officially District Governor Elect, looking forward to her year in 2007. She was also recognized for receiving her 3rd Paul Harris.
John Lawrence was honoured by Audrey as she presented the President’s Citation to John in recognition for this year’s achievements of Chatham Rotary Sunrise.
Several club members were recognized for Perfect Attendance.

We were pleased to have with us all Past Presidents of the Club – Bob Vellinga, Paul Roy, Keith Hindmarsh, Roger MacRae, Jean Baker, Max Howell, and Walter Ploegman. After sharing a highlight of each of their years, and with all expressing a deep enjoyment of their terms, these individuals were honoured with Paul Harris awards, from the Chatham Rotary Sunrise club, in recognition of their Service Above Self.

Dinner was catered by our own Keith Hindmarsh of Harvest Moon Catering
Cornish hens, served on couscous with peppers and a raisin compote, accompanied by asparagus and tomatoes with corn & basil stuffing. Grande Finale, - strawberries with whipped cream on sweet cloud biscuits. A delightful meal, Keith. Thank you!

Finally President John called Beth Walters forward and on behalf of all the Sunrise Rotarians acknowledged Beth’s outstanding service to the Sunrise Rotary Club with the awarding of a Paul Harris to Beth.
