Our Vision

     Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise will support the youth in our community

• Interact Club,
• the international student exchange programs & RYLA,
• community service programs directed towards youth (i.e. sports teams) and
• organizations like the Children’s Safety Village.

     Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise will participate in promoting health & wellness like

· Campaigns for community needs like the MRI,
· the Breakfast Speaker Series partnering with the YMCA,
· improving walkways & trails in our environment.

      Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise will encourage & protect our environment   

         · projects like Trails Canada, the 401 cleanup
          and the flower beds on the Grand Ave by the Thames.

      Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise will partner to improve literacy.    

• our planned 3 yr program for Books for Babies
• Rotarians’ participation in Reading Weeks in the elementary schools.

• Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise will support the youth in our community

        DIRECTION:
                 We will grow to 50 active members over the next 5 years.
                 We will continue to engage in the retention of our members.
                  A Friends of Rotary group will be created.

        DIRECTION:

               We will continue the fundraisers that have been established.
                        - Mardi Gras party & auction
                        - Roses for Rotary campaign
                        - Bingos

                We have chosen a signature fund raising event -- Rib Fest, July 3-5 2009 weekend.
