Steering Committee for
Ribfest meets Wednesday,
June 30
-
Volunteers are needed.
Rotarians need to sign
up. Smart Serve
required for Ticket
sellers changes the
scheduling quite a bit.
-
AGCO (Liquor license
officer) meeting
resolved that the
fencing in the dining
area will be opened up
quite a bit, making it
easier for our families
to attend after 8:15pm

Guest Speaker
- Kim Chen: |
|
Keith
introduced his house guest,
Kimberly, recently returned
from her Western Canada bus
tour. The Hindmarshs' have
thoroughly enjoyed Kim, an
exceptional person.
Kim
showed her photos of family,
friend, her country & her
schools. She talked about
the festivals, even Red
envelopes with lots of
money. She’s enjoyed many
Canadian activities –
Niagara Falls & Toronto,
Thanksgiving w/with Linda &
her family, Point Pelee &
Halloween. She participated
in broomball, bingo,
bowling, snow tubing & even
learned to like dogs &
horses. She attended
District Conference & a
Toronto Blue Jays game.
Lastly, she even learned how
to clean the Hindmarsh
pool!

Kim
thanked the Club & gave us
her Club banners & a poster
“Everything will be better”
in Taiwanese.

Ivan
thanked Kim & gave her a
Canadian flag for her
return, wishing her well as
she continues her studies
back home.
