Blake introduced Ron Blommers, one of our guests today.   Ron is the Community Relations & Development Manager for CK Community Living.  He brought Ron Coristine Sr & Angela Anderson, their Executive Assistant, also of CK Community Living.

Ron opened his power point with a display of his reminders of Rotary’s influences on his life – the baseball jacket purchased for his team’s Championship win when he was about 16, the windbreaker when his team was initiated to the Hall of Fame & Olympic mittens – how we’re all great in what we do & how we do it

The Vision …Community Living….Discovering Dreams, Connecting Lives.

They now support over 400 people & their families across CK and employ more than 250 staff. Ron spoke about the variety of services offered at the agency – respite, residential accommodations, day programs, sheltered employment & employment services.

They benefit from strong partnerships with the public, businesses, volunteers, social service agencies, health services, education & all levels of government.
