Jackie’s son been in a serious accident out west but he is recovering & it could have been a lot worse

 

 

Ashley has 3!   - She left her wallet in a cart @ Wal-Mart & all was safely returned!   She’s moving to Chatham, gets her keys on July 1! And she’s celebrating her Birthday with us at Ribfest on Friday

 

 

Bonny’s just returned from a family vacation. She visited the first International Peace Park, created by clubs in Canada & the US, on the borders of Alberta & Montana

 

 

Paul’s got the whole family at home!

 

 

                       Paula’s done school & now only in 1 home – let’s go summer!

 

Laurie arrived late & was still happy!

RIBFEST NEWS   &   What's happening next! 


Mark led the conversation about the next few days, after Blake’s promising Weather Forecast.

Look for the Steering Committee members in their yellow shirts.

All volunteers need to register at the Volunteer Office to pick up their duties & their shirts.  NEWS!  This office is in the former Riviera Menswear store on King Street by the Cenotaph.

Stuff like fencing is starting to arrive today.

Security, 24 hrs until Sunday starts tonight at 10PM.  Set up on Tuesday for our Beer tent for the Canada D’eh Festival begins at 4PM.

Terra’s volunteers are coming together. 

Needs:  Wed afternoon 3:30 to 7:30pm & 7:15 to 11:30pm beer tent

              Friday afternoon, to work with Employers Edge with the activities

              Other shifts with a Donation pail & 50/50 tickets

 

All refreshment sellers – reminder that caps on bottles need to be removed & tossed out.

No tickets for more drinks will be sold after 10pm.

We must offer refunds to any unused beverage tickets at that time.

2 drinks for person, period.

BINGO: 


As all members are aware, BINGO's are one of our best fund raisers and we need members to help out. The fellowship is a wonderful added bonus.  Please do your part to help by volunteering yourself during one or more of the following time frames.

AUGUST 9             -  (Sunday) 6:00pm and 7:00pm -

SEPTEMBER        - (Monday) 9:30pm - Linda

You need to be there one hour and fifteen minutes before the start time. Remember you are awarded 3 make-ups for a regular bingo and one midnight bingo equals 5 make-ups.
