A big thank you to everyone who made this year’s Roses for Rotary campaign the most successful to date!  Our club sold 1,381 dozen roses which were all packaged and delivered on Wednesday, April 1st.  Rotarians, family members, friends of rotary, and local organizations were out in full force to assemble the roses into beautiful bouquets for delivery to businesses and homes throughout Chatham-Kent: from Highgate to Tilbury, Blenheim to Wallaceburg.  Funds raised from the campaign will be going towards Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise’s ‘Babies and Books Belong Together’ program which ensures that all babies born in Chatham-Kent will receive a book and literacy information in their package from the Health Unit.  Money will also go towards other Rotary supported projects such as youth and student exchange programs, sports and leadership sponsorships, the Rotary Trail along the riverbank on Grand Ave., and the MRI Campaign.  The Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise is devoted to community minded programs bettering the health, environment and youth education of Chatham-Kent.

Again a big thank you to everyone who participated in our campaign: Rotarians, volunteers, delivery drivers, and buyers alike!  We would also like to thank the following for their committed support of this fundraiser:

 Boston Pizza, Chatham

Instant Print Shoppe

Portuguese Canadian Social Club

United Floral Distributors

We welcome you to join us at our next Sunrise Rotary fundraising event – the 1st Annual Rotary Ribfest, being held July 3, 4, 5th in Tecumseh Park!  See you there!
