 Guest Speaker - Marion Fraser

John Lawrence introduced our Guest today, Marion Fraser, a senior advisor & consultant to the Liberal government, across the province. She’s working on creating a Green Energy Act for Ontario.

Marion presented a very factual talk on the work involved in creating this Act, as she represents & works with the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association. They’re working with various groups like First Nations, farms, co-ops to create Community Power organizations who will hold local ownership, create jobs and build economic development opportunities.  They want to make Ontario a global leader in clean, renewable energy & conservation.

You can read more details & join the movement at www.greenenergyact.ca.   Help get OSEA back up & running, to a greener Ontario.

Linda thanked Marion & her guests. It was a presentation jam packed, where we could have stayed another hour!  A book was signed for the Literary Angels program as well.
