Guest Speaker - PDG Audrey Chevalier:

Audrey presented her Presentation of her Year as District Governor 2007 / 08.   It all began with her nomination in October 2003 & took her traveling to Madison, WI, Niagara Falls, ON, San Diego CA. Her Induction, hosted at the Roy’s home was a fabulous event, thanks to many Sunrise Rotarians.   She talked of all the connections she’s made with Turkey, Ambassadorial Scholars, Rotoractors & Interact Club.  She named many highlights of her year, accompanied by great photos of many memories. One of her goals was to visit the RI Headquarters in Evanston, ILL.

She was pleased to be the nominee for Dr Kumar in Bareilly, India who received RI’s Service Above Self Award. She gratefully honored 2 local Rotarians, Jean Baker and Steve Sadler & friend of Rotary Brian Sadler, along with District Treasurer Mark Cooper with Paul Harris awards in her District.

Audrey shared many of her special thoughts & achievements in photos with us, including meeting now-Past Pres Wilf Wilkinson, , this year’s President DK Lee, Brian Williams & the grandson of the Founder of the Rotary Foundation.

Jean thanked Audrey.

We’re so proud to have you in our Sunrise Club, Audrey.
